This is a beautiful golden-themed eye makeup look that has a smoky effect and is so easy to create.
The first thing to do is apply a good base to keep the colour in place and to make it appear brighter.
Using a flat eye shadow brush, pat a matte black shadow on the outer third of the lid at a slight angle, the inner corner and blended through the crease. Keep the centre of the lid clean.
Pat a coppery gold eye shadow on the blank space of the lid and blend with the black on the edge of the copper shade.
To add some shading to the look, with a precise brush, blend a lighter gold shade on the centre of the lid to create a gradient of colour. Soften the black in the crease with a matte mid-brown shade and transition the colour out with a pale champagne shade.
On the lower lash line, use an angled brush to apply a matte black shadow on the outer half of the lower lash line. With the first copper shade from the lid, apply this on the inner half of the lower lash line and blend the two shades together.
Create a winged eyeliner using liquid liner and apply a black pencil liner on the waterline. Curl your lashes and apply mascara.
I am applying false lashes for this look and these are voluminous lashes and this nicely finishes off the eyes.
I used the shades from the Makeup Revolution Blusher, Bronzer and Highlighter Palette to highlight my cheekbones, nose bridge and cupids bow and contour my cheekbones.
On my lips, I used the MUA Clear Lip Liner as a barrier for the Elizabeth Arden Lipstick in Desert Rose and Elizabeth Arden Lip Gloss in Precious Pearl.
