K-Drama Look with BLK K-Beauty Collection

Korean makeup, I know all the drills, I know what to do as I've studied them long enough whenever I watch K-Drama.  But one thing that probably stop me is the fact that I have a whole lot of Western Makeup!  Yes, I do have a couple of pinks but some look either too bright or too "for Photography purpose" only.

When BLK Cosmetics launched their K-Beauty Collection, I got excited to create my own version of Anne Curtis look because I am in love with her photos for this particular collection!

Finally, a look I can easily do in less than 5 minutes and a look I can totally wear!

It started with a simple pink eyeshadow using BLK Intense Color Liquid Eyeshadow in shade Daisy (php299.00).  I find this to be scary pink to even try to put on my lids but after putting a dot and blending it with the use of my pinkie finger, I knew this is a keeper!

Check out the soft wash of Pink color.  A dot is enough and I like to use my smallest finger so I can control application pretty well!  Best of all, this liquid eyeshadow lasts the whole day without creasing!  Be mindful though that if you added your usual liquid liner, the effect won't be as soft and it will look Western makeup look!

Tip: Best to curl your lashes and apply loads of mascara.

Now on to my cheeks.  It is very important that I apply a subtle pink shade on my cheeks because I already have colored lids.  For this particular look, I picked BLK All Day Lip and Cheek Water Tint in Pink (Php299.00).  I was told that  most consumers requested to have this upsized, it was a shock for me as I dot is enough for each cheek!  Filipinas must really love their BLK Water Tints!

For this particular photo, I used 2 dots instead of the usual 1 for the color to appear on harsh lighting. It is a must to work on one cheek at a time because it tends to dry and set pretty quickly!

See the before and after effect?  I am obssessed with this color nowadays!

Now onto my lips!  As much as I'd love to pick Matte Mousse, I want my lips to look soft and undefined!  So I picked BLK Sweet Lip Duo in Snowdrop (Php379.00) instead.

Snowdrop is highly pigmented to be honest and can actually double up as your regular lipstick!  For this particular look, I want it softer so I applied the Coconut scented lipbalm first then gently dab Snowdrop tinted lip balm at the center of my lips for that diffused lipcolor effect.

My lips are dark to begin with so the effect isn't as obvious as users who have pale lips!

Voila!  This is my K-Drama look.  Pwede na ba?
I bet this will look even more legit with loads of mascara and maybe softer looking brows.
My brows are naturally dark and full kasi!
